Scary contacts, of all the special effect contact lenses, offers a fantastic choice of lenses. Especially popular for Halloween contact lenses and as special occasions such as theme nights, parties etc.
Of course what is scary to you may not be quite so scary to another so it is all relative. Thankfully the range of scary colored contact lenses is such that you are almost certain to get the effect you are looking for.

Zombie Halloween contact lenses
These are distinctly creepy. These lenses have a white centre that is fringed in blue and black.
These are usually custom contacts for Halloween and would usually require at least a week to make. If it is scary contact lenses you are after then these theatrical contact lenses are a good bet.
Blackout or Black sclera contact lenses are another option available to you. Very scary these cover the entire eye so in fact they could really be called pitch black contact lenses. Another good choice for Halloween contact lenses.A variation on theses are the hellfire sclera contact lenses, these again cover the entire eye but this time in red and black. This type is popular also among those who use gothic contact lenses.
Special effect contact lenses
Another variation on the scary contact lenses theme are Red Cat special effect contact lenses. These are not sclera contacts i.e. they do not cover the entire eye. These are a bright red color with a black in the middle in the shape of an oval. Scary enough for some.
Crow special effect contact lenses are also available. Again these are not sclera covering but fairly scary all the same. These theatrical contact lenses have a black centre, surrounded by a large yellow rim and then a thin black rim around the edge of the contact lenses.
Another option available that would make good scary Halloween contact lenses are the Possessed type. These are total black but with a tint they are not black sclera contact lenses. These only cover the pupil of the eye. These are theatrical contact lenses so will need to be custom made. Make sure to order in time.

Mirrored Contact Lenses
For me these are the most scary colored contact lenses of all. These really are theatrical contact lenses. They are expensive and difficult to find. There are however some cheaper versions that are easier to get and are very good in their own right.
